What a great idea!!! I’ve been having lower back pain for many years now and it’s gotten to the point where it’s very painful to even walk around or get up from a sitting position. I started looking around on the internet to find and purchase an ice pack and came across this article. It describes a way of quickly making your own gel ice pack. So if you’re ever in need of an ice pack for any reason, use this method. I can safely say that it works. I had Kathy make these based on the recipe and I’m using one right now. I just wrap it in a paper towel so it’s not directly contacting my skin. And sure enough it is completely malleable and very cold. This will be a cheap, quick solution to buying ice packs.

I went one step further and asked Kathy to make a pouch out of old t-shirts so I can zip up the ice pack in the pouch. This way I don’t have to use a paper towel that slides around and the cloth provides a little bit more protection. What’s more, since it’s made out of the cotton t-shirt it’s very comfortable. Yeah, I’m sure that
