OK, so my about page is a tad behind. I will update this soon, but for now, the information is out of date but still somewhat applicable. My name is Matt Harms and I’ve been involved with Information Technology for 20 years and have been in the profession for 17 of them.  Currently, I work for the U.S. Army, at FT Huachuca, AZ as a Senior System Administrator & Web Developer for the Second Regional Cyber Center – Western Hemisphere (2RCC-WH). Previously, I worked as an Applications Systems Analyst operating and maintaining an EMC CLARiiON CX4-480 SAN, EMC Celerra NS-480FC NAS, & two HP StorageWorks XP12000 SAN arrays for the Ft Huachuca CONUS Network Operating Service Center (C-TNOSC).  I’ve been a jack of all trades for most of my professional career and until recently I’ve become more of a specialist/engineer maintaining RedHat Linux Apache web servers and Solaris 10 UNIX WebLogic application servers.

I’m happily married to a loving and caring wife, who means the world to me, with four wonderful children.

This blog is random thoughts, occurrences that happen throughout my life.  Because I’m so busy, I have little time to post anything of any consistency. So here are my thoughts on random topics of which include topics like computers, internet, role playing games, visual arts, music, family, friends, politics, and just about anything else that I have passion about.  Hope you enjoy.

You can find a copy of my professional career on my Linked In page (granted it may be slightly out of date).  Use the link to the bottom left on my page to see my info.
